Harry Brook was dismissed for 171 after leading England to a first innings lead before lunch on the third day of the first cricket test against New Zealand.

England took charge of the first test against New Zealand on Saturday, riding Harry Brook's 171 to a first-innings lead of 151 before reducing the Black Caps to 155 for six at close of play on day three in Christchurch.

One of the impressive things about Harry Brook is he doesn't really seem to tire while batting. Even now he's been out there for 153 balls for his 121 not out but still looks fresh. New Zealand recall spinner Glenn Phillips to the attack.

Harry Brook has posted his seventh test century and shared a 151-run fifth-wicket partnership with Ollie Pope which changed the course of the first test between England and New Zealand on its second day.

Harry Brook scored a brilliant century to drag England right back into the first test in Christchurch on Friday, driving the tourists to within 29 runs of New Zealand's tally of 348 on 319 for five at the end of day two.
